Abrasive waterjet technology is the perfect cutting method for all aluminum alloys. We have experience with alloys 2024, 7075, 7475, 5052, 6061, and 6063.
Aluminum is easily machined using the abrasive waterjet leaving a smooth edge finish without the need for secondary processing. Our waterjet equipment cuts material thicknesses from .003 through 6.0 inches. The waterjet process does not affect the temper of the material because the cutting action produces no heat ensuring the integrity of the material as opposed to laser or saw cutting.
